   | Results of 5th Annual Translation ContestThis year's contest focused on German-Russian translation and had 17 finalists from Tomsk, Novosibirsk and Altai region.
On June 14 Palex announced the results of the contest. All of this year's prizes went to participants from Tomsk. The first prize of $500 went to Kseniya Sadykova. Second prize was won by Nadezhda Kuznetsova, a lecturer at Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building. Mikhail Tvardovskiy, a sophomore at Tomsk State Pedagogical University, took third prize. Honorable mentions went to Anna Krashenina for high quality translation and to Olga Ovchinnikova for perfect command of German language. |
